Hi everyone!
Short post today because my bf is waiting for me on the sofa. Haha :)
I decided to wear another one of my thermal polishes before the effect fades. This is a decant of Polished by KPT Don’t Be Ranunculus. It’s my first time with this brand and I had no issues with it. Quality is superb, it lasted long and it was easy to paint. Thermal effect also works wonders! It goes from a washed out lilac (hot) to burgundy (cold).
Two coats, no top coat. It dries matte.
Ciao a tutti!
Questo è il Polished by KPT Don’t Be Ranunculus.
Asciuga matte.
As you can see it has small flakies inside rather than a standard shimmer, and you know I don’t love this finish, although it seems to be the latest and hottest trend in the indies’ world! For this reason, and for the colours that aren’t really me, I didn’t like this polish honestly. But again, wrong personal choice because the quality was amazing!
Do you own any Polished by KPT? How is your experience with them?
Avete qualche Polished by KPT?
DeleteI don't have them, but I have to admit the thermo effect here is easily visible and strong.
ReplyDeleteYes, really strong!
DeleteI love when it turns to burgundy !
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the shift state, too :)
DeleteMooolto carino!! Non conoscevo questo brand indie!
ReplyDeleteGrazie! Colpa di Dani :p
DeleteOh this one looks really pretty! I love the picture of the transition state with your tips in burgundy :) I just ordered my first polishes from KPT and I'm excited about them to arrive! :)
ReplyDeleteWoot! Nail mail is always exciting, isn't it? I also love the transition state of thermal polish!
DeleteDefinitely like it better cold than hot!
ReplyDeleteWhich is good because once the thermal effect vanishes it stays in the cold colour :p
DeleteLove this one in transition!
ReplyDeleteThat's my favourite part in thermal polishes!
DeleteI think this is really pretty, actually! This is one brand that's been on my to-try list forever!
ReplyDeleteI've had the chance to get two decants off a friend so I can cancel it from my to-try list. Next step ILNP! ;)
DeleteOh my gosh, I love this in transition! It is so gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the transition states of thermals, too!
DeleteSuch a pretty polish!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful nails and I'm loving that color!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer! This is probably my favourite length on my own nails!
DeleteSuch a pretty shade!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the transitioning pics! Thermals look amazing that way, but I still have yet to try this brand or any other that works like that on me.
ReplyDeleteOh really? Do you have warm hands? I noticed that people that mentioned thermals not really working on their nails tend to have warm hands. I have lower than standard body temperature so the change is probably bigger and more noticeable on me. But sure brands make a difference.
DeleteOooh, the cold shade is gorgeous! Great pics of the transition.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI'm impressed by the transitioning effect, but the colours just don't work on you! It would probably look great on some people, but it is not to my taste either... You did capture it perfectly in your pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lothwen! Yes, exactly! Not the colours that go well with my skintone, beside my taste!
DeleteThat is a stunning thermal!
ReplyDeleteThank you Shelby!
DeleteLove the color shift of this thermal! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It really has a strong shift!
DeleteI really like the look when it's all the warm color on the nail beds and the cold color on the tips, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's my favourite look with thermals!!
DeleteGorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWow, this is so pretty! The color shift is incredible!
ReplyDeleteIt has a very strong shift indeed!
DeleteI love the color shift of this one! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the name! So clever and I love Ranunculus. ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeletePretty! I love good thermal polishes!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Only thing that bothers me is that I need to use them immediately or the effect fades :(
