Today I am showing you a super pretty Catrice nail polish. It's no. 30 from their ICONails range and it's called Keep Calm And Pink. As you might guess from its name it's a creme pink nail polish. Application is very easy and it's perfectly opaque in two coats. Drying time is average and the finish is glossy.

It's a lovely bright pink that reminds me of a candy, I like it?
Today I'll show you another shade from Bornpretty's second holographic collection. It's no. 3 Wine Malaga, an orange linear holo. I actually expected it to be a red holo... how can wine be orange? Oh well, the shade is not its issue. Same as the other one I've already blogged about (Papakolea Breeze) this one needs an aqua base, otherwise application is a nightmare. It drags at each coat if you use a regular base coat. Not acceptable in 2018, esp. because Bornpretty knows how to do holos that apply like butter! Their first collection was perfect from that point of view. It's such a shame they did a step backward with this collection quality-wise.
Photos: two coats over Nfu-Oh Aqua Base (no top coat).
I own every kind of base coat but it really bothers me that this nail polish is not for everyone. A standard user doesn't own 1000 base coats or nail polishes and they would hate this one. I think Bornpretty should reformulate this whole collection so that it applies over any base because the colours are worth it.
What do you think about special needs nail polishes?
It's time for letter S in the Untried A-Z challenge. Time goes by so fast!
My pick is Sinful Colors Open Seas from Summer 2011 Adventure Island's collection. It's a beautiful dusty aqua green which used to be famous for being a cheap dupe for OPI Mermaid Tears. Despite being so old it applied like butter, it's opaque in two easy coats and it dries reasonably quick.

It's such a shame Sinful is so hard to find over here in Italy. Their collections always hide some gems and the overall quality is really good for its price. Most Sinful cremes are also great for stamping (hint: get their Snow Me White!).
What do you think of Sinful Colors? And what about this shade?
The red stamping polish is from the same series as the black one. They are 9ml bottles and they are special stamping polishes. The red polish is product code SKU: J6415TM-6A* btw.
There's no need to say anything, right? As usual I've tested it with some fine lines pattern and this stamping polish worked great. The design transferred completely on the nails, the polish is very pigmented and the shade is a bright red. I will say the same as the black one: beware of the cuticles. These stamping polishes are extremely pigmented and it's a nightmare to clean them up. I used my Beauty Big Bang liquid latex once again (product code: SKU: J2176-WH, review: BeautyBigBang latex review) to avoid any clean up.
So for me this is a big thumb up and I am now ready to stock up on more shades!
What do you think of it? Do you like today's nail art? And have you ever used any Beauty BigBang stamping polishes or products?
Today I'm gonna show you a holographic nail polish from web store Beauty Bigbang which you've already heard of on my blog.
This is no. 04* from Beauty Bigbang's own holo series and it's sold as a golden shade. Not true! The photos on the webshop are actually correct: this is a nude linear holo (aka you can see a rainbow on your nails).
Application is easy, it doesn't need a specific base coat and drying time is fast. Despite being such a light shade it only takes two coats for decent coverage.
Photos: two coats, no top coat.
Thumbs up! This is exactly what my holos are meant to be in 2018: no special base and big time holo effect. It's got both.
You can find this nail polish at Beauty Bigbang, product code SKU: #J6414TM-4A. The price is not that cheap but I've noticed all regular (know what I mean?) Chinese web shops are increasing their average prices. Anyway, you can use the code SIMONA for 10% if you need it. Shipping is free worldwide.
What do you think about this holo? Have you ever shopped on Beauty BigBang?
Today I'm showing you a nail polish from Bornprettystore. It's no. 03 Young from the Chameleon "Flower in Sunshine" series (product code #42513). It's a nail polish I had never heard of and it's weird because it's a duochrome with holo glitters. Maybe the photo and description at Bornprettystore don't make it justice.
It's a lilac nail polish with blue iridescence filled with holographic glitters. It's not opaque but that's ok if we keep in mind the duochrome effect benefits of a dark base. Anyway if you are patient enough you can build up the colour on its own, too, and it's very pretty that way as well. Fortunately drying time is quite fast. The holo glitters are very visible and the colour shift is, too.
Photos: 4 coats + top coat.
Last photo: 2 coats over black + top coat.
As you might notice from the photos the main colour is lilac when used on its own, but blue gets over with a dark base. I like both versions!
What do you think of it? Had you ever heard of it yet?
We are already to letter R for the Untried A-Z challenge and I picked a nail polish which I'm not sure is still available out there? It's Revlon Chic, a dusty blue creme.
I've always liked Revlon nail polish although the shades are kinda boring. This one is not so good though. It's watery and takes long to dry. For this reason you get a good coverage in two coats but you will have bald spots if you don't wait enough between each coat. You can see I wasn't patient in my middle finger nail.
Photos: two coats, no top coat.
I think this is a nice shade for Summer to Fall transition and generally a good Fall colour. It's a shame the quality is not as good.
